Prague, Czech Republic

The largest and capital city in the Czech Republic, historical capital of Bohemi, the 14th largest city in the European Union Prague is located in the north-west of the Czech Republic on the Vltava river. Prague is home to about 1.3 million people, but if we are counting larger urban zone then we have a population of 2.2 million. The city climate is temperate climate, with chilly winters and warm summers.

Old Town Hall

Established in 1338 as the seat of the Old Town administration, Old Town Hall is the oldest part of the complex that consists of an unique astronomical clock and beautiful Gothic tower with a bay chapel. The guided tour shows the underground areas, the tower and historical halls.

The clock is the pride of Prague that was built in 15th century. Despite being repaired because the damage during its lifetime, it is regarded as the best preserved medieval mechanical clock in the world. It offers spectacle of the mechanical marking the turn of an hour. Every hour between 9 am and 11 pm, you can see the twelve apostles appear.

Despite invasions, the Old Town Square has remained relatively untouched since the 10th century. The square is the perfect place to admire the wonderful astonishing architecture Prague has to offer.

Charles Bridge

Charles Bridge is the oldest bridge in Prague that was built to replace the Judith Bridge that was damaged by floods in 1342. Bridge begun construction in 1357 and was completed in 1402. Its structure is built of sandstone blocks, with towers (Old Town Bridge Tower, Lesser Town Bridge Towers) at each end. 30 statues of saints were carved to decorate the bridge from 1683 to 1928. A walk across the 14th Century bridge is one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences of visiting Prague.

Important symbol of the Czech state for more than a thousand years, Prague Castle was founded in the 9th century and became the residence of Czech rulers and later presidents.
The castle is one of the largest complexes in the world made up of offices, historical palaces, gardens, fortification buildings church on area of 45 hectares. One of the most spectacular in the world is the panoramic view of Prague Castle. It is without a doubt one of the city’s most popular tourist attraction.
